What types of pump training do you offer?
At Peerless we offer a wide variety of pump training; everything from our Certified Technician and Fire Pump Training, to our Vertical Turbine and DOE/PSAT Training. If you are looking for a different area of instruction, Peerless is part of the Grundfos group of companies which includes Grundfos, Peerless, Paco, Yeomans Chicago, so we can direct you to any type of pump training that you desire.
Is your training available to anyone?
Some of our training is very specific and in some cases advanced, so we will accept all applications which are then reviewed by our Training Manager and the specific segment General Manager, to determine if the course is right for your specific needs.
Who are the instructors?
Class instruction is primarily done by Peerless personnel. A cross section of Application Engineers, Field Service Technicians and Segment Managers are typically on the list of instructors you will meet. Peerless has a great number of employees with more than 30-years in the industry, so if you have a question you can be certain it will be answered.
Where does the training take place?
Most of our training takes place at Peerless' World Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. Centrally located in the United States and only 15-minutes from the newest airport in the U.S. makes this an ideal location. Indianapolis is a fully functioning, design, development, production and testing facility, which allows to a prefect blend of hands-on and classroom training.
How long are the classes?
Most of the workshops are three-days. Beginning at 8am and closing at 5pm, allows for time to cover the curriculum as well as address any specific issues that you would like to discuss or learn.
How much does the training cost?
Our workshops vary in price, but as a manufacturer we recognize the overall value in training so our classes are often less than half the cost of other training. Prices can be found at our training website: www.epumptraining.com. Don't forget, some workshops offer a discount for early registration.
What is included in the price of training?
Transportation to and from the hotel, meals, in addition to the course workbook and CD, all the training materials and course instruction are included in the price of the workshop.
How do I pay for the workshop?
We can accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express as well as a company or personal check. Current Peerless Business Partners can also pay with a company purchase order.
What if I need to cancel?
There will be no charge for registrants who cancel up to three-weeks before a workshop begins. Registrants who cancel less than three-weeks prior to the start of the class will be charged 50% of the course fee if this open seat cannot be filled. Confirmed participants who do not attend their scheduled session will be liable for the entire fee.
